Personal Rclone is a personal, single-user configuration of rclone used by its owner to access their own Google Drive. This policy covers that configuration and the informational website at rclone.ioti-i.com.
Google data accessed and why
With the owner's explicit authorization, rclone accesses Google Drive file contents and metadata, including file and folder names, identifiers, sizes, modification times, and other information needed for file operations. Full Drive permission permits listing, reading, creating, updating, moving, and deleting files. This access supports the owner's requested file management and on-demand local access.
Credentials and local storage
Google handles sign-in. Rclone uses OAuth access and refresh tokens; it does not require the owner's Google password. Tokens are stored in a protected configuration on the owner's computer. Downloaded file data and pending uploads may be stored in a local disk cache. Local tools that the owner authorizes to access the mounted folder may also read or modify its contents.
Use and disclosure
Google Drive data is used to carry out the owner's file operations. It is not sold, used for advertising, or transferred to this informational website. The website has no Google sign-in form, credential upload, or connection to the owner's Drive. Any sharing initiated by the owner through Google Drive or other authorized tools is controlled by the owner.
Retention and deletion
Local cached data is retained according to the owner's cache settings. Open files and pending uploads may remain beyond normal cache limits. Credentials remain until the owner removes them or revokes access. Deleting a cached copy does not delete the cloud original; deleting a file through the mounted Drive is a cloud file operation.
Control and revocation
The owner can stop the rclone process, remove its stored credentials and local cache, or revoke the application's access through Google Account connections. Revocation stops future access with those credentials but does not itself delete existing local copies.
Website hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. It includes no application-level analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, cookies, or forms. Cloudflare may process technical request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and secure the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
